Two-piece implants
Two-piece implants consist of intraosseous implant and abutment. Intraosseous implants have a diameter of threaded part 4.5 mm and the length of the threaded part in the range from 8 mm to 14 mm. Endosseus implants have a conical shape and self-tapping threads, which facilitates the implant installation into the bone bed. (Table 2). After placement, the internal canal of the endosseus implant is closed with a cover screw, which is included in the delivery kit. After the endosseus implant is integrated, the cover screw is removed. An abutment is cemented in its place using dual-curing or self-curing glass ionomer cement.
